ArtPlay Rudeneja Inspiration

Inspiration for using the ArtPlay Rudeneja Collection for digital scrapbooking and photo artistry in Adobe Photoshop and Elements.

This post is intended to give you guidance on using ArtPlay Palette Rudeneja, ArtsyTransfers and co-ordinating digital assets.

1. Extend with Embellishment

Use the elements from the ArtPlay Rudeneja Collection to create an extension of the focal subject.

• Use elements from the ArtPlay Palette and the MultiMedia Branches No 9 files to Enhance the subject.
• For example, the Subject of a photo artistry or digital scrapbooking page can hold, wear, adorn, be decorated by an embellishment and become part of the Story.
• Notice how Fiona has placed leaves in her Granddaughter’s hand As though she is holding them.

2. Add Vertical Text

Consider changing the orientation of your text to create contrast in angles and tension in your design.

• Rotate your text by 90 degrees to Align with vertical lines in your digital scrapbooking layout designs.
• Notice how these vertical lines oppose the horizontal lines of the frame to create Tension.
• I also love how Barbara has placed strips of digital paper with Blending Modes applied to create ‘tapes’ from the SubtleQuotes.

3. Switch Out Frames

Replace one or more frames in a template to enhance visual interest.

• Use frames from the ArtPlay Palette Rudeneja to enhance Visual Interest in the Artsy Layered Template.
• Frames of Different Shapes and Dimension also create contrast in your digital scrapbooking pages.
• Notice how Miki has used the oval frame included in the ArtPlay Palette Rudeneja in place of one of the  Artsy Layered Template masks.
