1. Moody Heritage Colors

Dark jewel tones lend themselves well to heritage photos.

• The dark green in the ArtPlay Mistletoe Collection extends beyond the holiday season to both older images and those taken outdoors.
• Think about Color instead of theme when selection an ArtPlay Palette for a photo artistry or digital scrapbooking layout design.
• We love her compositing approach using Evergreen FotoBlendz No. 2 to create her Blended heritage page.

2. Frame Your Layout

Frame your layout via a Selection and Layer Styles.

• Create a ‘square selection’ using the Rectangular Marquee Tool.
• Apply a white Stroke Layer Style inside the selection before adding the Drop Shadow to create dimension.
• We love how Heather also used  elements from the ArtPlay Palette Pinery and ArtPlay Palette Christmas Tree to add a frosty blue to her digital scrapbooking page.
